Join Us
We are always looking for talented and motivated postdoctoral fellows to join the Zhang Lab. Our lab offers a dynamic, collaborative environment at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where we tackle fundamental questions in epigenetics, neuroscience, and aging biology using cutting-edge approaches.
Who we are looking for
We are currently recruiting postdoctoral fellows with a strong publication record and doctoral training in one or more of the following areas:
Developmental epigenetics and early embryology — candidates with experience in preimplantation development, chromatin biology, transcription factor biology, or epigenomic profiling of low-input or single-cell samples.
Neuroscience and brain circuits — candidates with expertise in single-cell or spatial transcriptomics, mouse behavioral models, chemogenetics or optogenetics, neural circuit tracing, or in vivo electrophysiology.
Hematopoiesis and aging biology — candidates with a background in hematopoietic stem cell biology, immunology, aging, or CRISPR-based functional genomics.
Across all areas, we particularly value experience with single-cell sequencing, epigenomic profiling, mouse genetics, and quantitative data analysis.
What we offer
Postdoctoral fellows in the Zhang Lab benefit from exceptional scientific mentorship, access to state-of-the-art core facilities, and a vibrant intellectual community. Our lab has a strong track record of placing trainees in faculty positions at leading academic institutions worldwide.
How to apply
Interested candidates should send a CV, a brief statement of research interests, and contact information for three references to yzhang@genetics.med.harvard.edu . We welcome applications on a rolling basis.
